Music-loving, craft-making, nature-worshiping, soul-searching mountain mama.
After two decades climbing the corporate marketing ladder, this self-described “Type-A creative” ditched the boardroom for the paintbrush—and never looked back.
Now based in the eclectic, artsy heart of Asheville (by way of the Florida beaches), she creates bold, textured works alive with color and movement using acrylics, palette knives, and unconventional tools.
Known for her signature layers upon layers of vibrant hues, her pieces blur the line between abstract and realism. Her work has been called “full of life and motion.”
Kelly is a co-owner/artist at the Asheville Gallery of Art and also exhibits at Trackside Studios and Marquee. She welcomes commissions. She and her husband have a combined family of five children ages 11-27.
